(FEBRUARY 15, 2019 ) – With the esports industry expected to surpass $1 billion dollars in 2019, CPG marketing and communications agency, Greenhouse is getting into the game via an investment and strategic partnership with the New England Whalers. With over 15 years of experience in marketing for global brands, including Jack Daniel’s, MetRx, GM, and Cabot; Greenhouse Founder, Sean Roche, is pairing the agency’s innovative consumer marketing with the New England Whalers to join the esports organization that will disrupt the industry overall.

The Whalers continue to seek opportunities to expand into League of Legends, Defence of the Ancients 2 (DOTA2), Street Fighter V, and Super Smash Brothers Ultimate while continuing to compete in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO), Overwatch, Call of Duty, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG), and Rocket League as operations work to establish an HQ/Training Facility in Boston.

 

The Whalers CS:GO team has inaugurated the organizations first gaming house in Boston during the beginning of their 2019 season. Competing in the ESEA Main S30; now back with a full Brazilian roster with known players previously from GorillaCore, Detona Gaming, Santos Esports and way back CS 1.6 days.
